It is the battlefield where the armies of the legendary emperors, Lubal and Rabellu, fought fiercely against each other. There used to be a thick forest and beautiful nature here, but after the bloody war, it turned into a desert with short trees seen once in a while. The Paral river branching from the Skell river wraps around Carod from left to right and merges with the sea, and there is a rugged rocky mountain at the boundary with Quanato. At the center of Carod is a huge 'Mark of Devil', and huge stone statues are lined along the road above it. To the southeast of this 'Mark of Devil' there is the grave of books where Rabellu buried all characters and books, and a sand tower. So a corrosive sandy wind is always swirling around here. To the north and south, there is a strange-looking rock called Harpy. As the wind passes the hole in the rock, some say that it makes strange music, but others say that Harpys gather together on the rock to sing. To the west of Carrod, there is a crescent estuary of the moving river whose color looks drab as if it were composed of a mixture of blood and mud. Beyond the estuary there is an oasis, the only source of water, and the entrance to the underground tomb, Clab.

A bug of death. It hides under rock or in sand, and raises itself. Some say that this organism has been in existence since time immemorial. It belches flames to attack its enemies. Though smaller than humans, as it tends to attack in groups, it is not easy to handle. It likes the intestines of a human who has just died.

Looking distressed and pale, this strange-looking monster has the torso of a female, wings replace arms, and it has the legs of a falcon. It is known as the spirit of a thunder cursed by Katherr, the crazy god. Its nerve-wracking sharp cry is enough to scare its enemies. It flies up hard, and attacks by scratching with its claws. It uses the electricity it absorbs from the surroundings to electrocute the enemy.

A rock monster. It looks like a pile of rocks, and when a man passes by, it develops joints and assumes a form all of a sudden, and attacks the man. When a man passes by, the chill moves inside the pile of rocks to wake up Dugusu. It is known to absorb the chill of the dead body of a human and maintains its form.

A mixture of a female and a spider. This monster has the head of a female, and the body of a spider. It has ugly poisonous teeth and long hair. It uses power thunder, and attacks behind Kukadon. It used to be a beautiful woman who raised animals together with Kukadon, but Katherr, the crazy god, coveted them and put a spell on them. It attacks anything that enters its habitat.

A mixture of a male and a scorpion. It has strong jaws and paws, and uses the sting on its tail to rip its enemies apart. Its back is bent like a scorpion, and has a hard shell on its back. It looks like a man, and has the arms of a scorpion and the poisonous tail of a scorpion. It used to be a man who raised animals here with Kumanon, but Katherr, the crazy god, coveted them and put a spell on them. Katherr infused chill in him, so it is covered with chill all over, and this chill keeps even Kumanon away.

It holds a burning mace, and it is know to live in the outskirts of Carod. It appeared abruptly In the age of iron. No one knows how it came to this region.

 

 

 Parak

Resembling a wolf, it is like black smoke. It digs up the ground and hides in there, and attacks passers-by. If you make light of one Parak standing in front of you and counterattack it, you will be attacked by them from all directions. Oftentimes strong ones are defeated by such surprise attacks. To beat them, you will need to attack the one in front of you as quickly as possible, and run from there before you are trapped by the other 4 Paraks. As it absorbs the chill of the ground, it has a strong ice attribute.

It is a strong monster that appears at oases at the end of the desert. It guards the entrance to the cave of darkness. Its hair resembles the mane of a lion, and a big mouth. It uses the chain wrapped around its hand like a whip as it pleases to attack its enemies. If you become absent-minded as you arrive at the oasis, Glue will take away your life at once. Unlike other monsters, it approaches you quietly, and until it's right next to you, you cannot see it. So exercise caution. To tell if it's coming close to you, watch out for footprints. Even if you find it, you may be petrified by the enormous sound it makes, though.
