There are many combination materials in the game. They are used to craft Grade 7, 8, 9, 10 Weapons and Amours, or a Storage Box. The materials can be acquired by combining other materials or by hunting monsters.
The combination materials can be combined to craft weapons, amours or a storage box. Some materials can also be combined to craft other materials. The combinations abide by definite formulas. For example:
Pointy hair x 2 + Scale x 2 = Faf wood branch
This formula means that, to craft a Faf wood branch, you need 2 Pointy hairs and 2 Scales.
To combine with materials, follow the steps given below :
Go to the weapon merchants NPC(Quanato : Kaduru , Temoz : Yarrmo). Click on the weapon merchant and then select "Open NPC window".  
The Inventory Window and Armory Window will appear together. Select the "Combination" tab in Armory window as shown below. Here you can place the required materials according to the combination formula. 
For example : to craft a Faf wood branch, the formula is 
First you must have the required Materials in inventory window. Then click drag and drop the materials from inventory window into the slots of the appropriate section. All materials are placed in section 2. Place them in the correct order(from left to right) as stated in the formulas.
Click "OK" when done. If all the materials are in and placed in the correct order, all the materials will be consumed and the resultant item (In this case a Faf wood branch) will be in your inventory as shown below. A fee of 10,000 WZ will be charged for the combination. 
* In the event of wrong placement of materials or incomplete materials, the process will fail and all items will be returned into the character's inventory. There will not be any WZ charges.
